This book tells the story of a dragon named Danny Dragonbreath and his best friend Wendell, who is an iguana. A lot of the story takes place at the school where they both attend.
Danny notices how the hot dog he orders for lunch is red like the color of blood and doesn't look right. The book tells how Wendell is bitten by the hotdog after he picks it up to look at it. The hot dog that bit Wendell is known as a "were-wiener". Strange things begin to happen to Wendell and to others who are bitten by the "were-wieners". Danny's main objective is to save Wendell and to destroy the leader of the "were-wieners", known as the Alpha Wurst.
The book takes place mainly at school. Danny Dragonbreath is an adventurous young boy. He does not like following rules, but is a very good friend to Wendell. He reminds me of my good friend Jack who is always looking for a new adventure.
I found the illustrations to be very interesting. They remind me of the kind that you find in comic books.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good adventure and likes to have a good laugh. Those who like really silly humor would enjoy reading this book.

This is Greg Heffley's journal. His mom bought it for him. This book is about what happened to Greg in middle school. He writes and draws cartoons. The author teaches us what middle school is like.
The setting is middle school. It could be any middle school. It could be any time.
Greg is one of the smallest kids in the class. Greg is not popular, but he has a friend named Rowley. They like to play together. Greg chased the little kids with a worm on a stick. He let Rowley get in trouble. He learned to not blame stuff on people. He doesn't remind me of myself because I don't blame people.
I like the illustrations in the book. The cartoons help because they show what Greg's world is like.
I recommend this book. It is good because I like the pictures and the ini comics. The book is funny.
